What?
What is a Business After Hours or Chamber Coffee? These are opportunities for Chamber members to become more acquainted and share informal conversation. This occassion may have an adults-only atmosphere or it may have a family-oriented atmosphere. The Chamber Coffee is generally held in the morning.
Who?
Who hosts one of these event? Any Chamber member in good standing is eligible to host a Business After Hours or Chamber Coffee. The event may be sponsored by more than one host. The Chamber co-hosts the event by sending invitations and designating Chamber Ambassadors to help with the event.
Who attends? The Chamber sends invitations to all Chamber members. Hosts are welcome to send invitations to anyone they choose.
When?
When do they occur? The Chamber likes to schedule Business After Hours immediately following work on any regular business day except for Wed. and a Chamber Coffee can be scheduled any business weekday in the morning. The events take place on a date agreed upon by the Chamber and host(s). The hours of the event are from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. for After Hours and 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. for Coffees, unless special arrangements are made.
Where?
Where do these events occur? Both may take place at the host's place of business or at a remote location like the Country Club, Meeting Room, Chamber, etc.
Why?
Why do they occur? These events are designed to allow Chamber members to come together in an informal atmosphere and discover how they may better work together. This event is also designed to give the host recognition for his/her efforts and to showcase the host's business.
