Ripley is ideally located along US. Highway 51 and on the banks of the Mississippi River and has excellent access to air, truck, rail and water transportation.

Highways/Interstates: Ripley is located on U.S. Highway 51, four-lane, north/south route between New Orleans and Wisconsin, and is located on state Highway 19, east/west. Proposed Interstate 69, which will connect Canada with the United States and Mexico, will pass directly through Ripley and Lauderdale County.

. I-155, 25 miles north, linking Ripley to I-55.

Rail Service: Canadian National/Illinois Central Gulf, main line of Mid America from Omaha to Chicago and Chicago to the Gulf of Mexico and Canada. Canadian National/Illinois Central Railroad connects to the following major railroads in Memphis: BNSF, NS, U PSP and CSX for rail service to any part of the country. Canadian National/Illinois Central's Memphis yard is the largest in the system. Canadian National/Illinois Central offers port access at Mobile, At and New Orleans. LA.
